1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, reserving a table, or dining at Luminar Cocina Mexicana (142 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy VIC 3065), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Our hospitality operations are governed by the laws of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia.

2. Table Reservations & Arrival Protocol

We strive to seat all reserved parties promptly at their nominated booking time. Please note:

• Tables are held for 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation time before being released to waiting guests;
• For parties of 6 or more, a nominal pre-authorization or deposit of $25 per person may be required to secure the reservation;
• Standard dining durations are 90 minutes for parties of 2 to 4, and 120 minutes for parties of 5 or more.

3. Dietary Requirements & Food Allergies

While our kitchen exercises extreme diligence in ingredient separation and allergen handling, our dishes are prepared in an open culinary kitchen handling corn, dairy, seafood, seeds, and tree nuts. Guests with life-threatening allergies must inform our host desk prior to arrival and upon being seated.

4. Pricing, Surcharges & Payment

All menu prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of the 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST). A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and a 15% surcharge applies on Victorian and National Public Holidays to offset penalty award hospitality wages.

5. Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes consumer rights guaranteed under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If food, beverage, or service quality fails to meet statutory acceptable quality guarantees, we will promptly remedy the issue by meal replacement or refund.
